Possible DUI Incident Causes Collision on 54th Ave

DENVER, CO 4/25/2025. On April 25, 2025, at 10:14 PM, a traffic incident was reported on 12300 E 54th Avenue in the Montbello neighborhood of Denver. Approximately half a mile east of the intersection with Chambers Road, a westbound passenger vehicle collided front to front with an eastbound parked car under dark but lit conditions. The driver of the moving vehicle exhibited careless driving behavior, though there were no serious injuries or fatalities reported. Authorities suggest this incident may involve driving under the influence. The section of roadway where the incident occurred is a non-intersection area, with a history of 456 traffic-related incidents reported in the Montbello area over the past year.
