DENVER, CO 5/9/2025. On May 9, 2025, at approximately 5:41 PM Mountain Time, a traffic incident that may involve driving under the influence was reported at the intersection of South Colorado Boulevard and East Louisiana Avenue in Denver, approximately 0.1 miles south of the major cross streets. The collision occurred between two passenger vehicles, resulting in two serious injuries. One car, heading south, attempted a U-turn and was driving carelessly when it collided front-to-front with another vehicle going north. Fortunately, no fatalities were reported. The intersection was well-lit despite the dark conditions at the time of the incident. This marks one of over a hundred reported traffic incidents in the Cory-Merrill neighborhood in the past year.
