Possible DUI Incident in Overland Involving Truck Near S Platte River Dr and S Santa Fe Dr

DENVER, CO 12/13/2025. On December 13, 2025, at 12:40 PM Mountain Time, a traffic incident was reported at the intersection of S Platte River Dr and S Santa Fe Dr in the Overland neighborhood of Denver. A pickup truck or utility van traveling southeast and reportedly negotiating a curve ran off the right side of the road and collided with a crash cushion or traffic barrel. The light conditions were dark but lighted. Although no serious injuries or fatalities were reported, authorities are investigating the possibility of driving under the influence. This incident occurred approximately 0.3 miles southeast of the major cross streets and marks the 230th reported traffic incident in Overland since December 16, 2024.
