Possible DUI Incident Involving Parked Cars Reported on East 51st Ave in Montbello

DENVER, CO 12/13/2025. A possible incident involving driving under the influence was reported at 5:19 PM Mountain time on December 13, 2025, in the Montbello neighborhood of Denver. The incident occurred on the 12200 block of East 51st Avenue, approximately 0.5 miles east of the intersection with U.S. Route 6 and Havana Street. The incident involved a passenger car traveling east that collided with parked motor vehicles in the dark, unlighted area. Although the cars involved were damaged, there were no serious injuries or fatalities reported. With over 479 incidents reported in the Montbello neighborhood since December 14, 2024, local authorities are investigating the potential involvement of alcohol or drugs as contributing factors.
