Possible DUI Incident on I-25 Northbound near East Evans Avenue Leaves No Serious Injuries

DENVER, CO 9/27/2025. On September 27, 2025, at approximately 5:22 PM Mountain time, a traffic incident was reported on I-25 Northbound near East Evans Avenue, in the Goldsmith neighborhood of Denver. The incident occurred less than half a mile northwest of this major intersection and involved an SUV. The vehicle, traveling southbound, made contact with crash cushions or traffic barrels on the roadway, which is described as a non-intersection area. Fortunately, no serious injuries or fatalities were reported. Despite the dark-lighted conditions, the driver was suspected of careless driving, possibly under the influence, though no other vehicle was involved in the incident.
