DENVER, CO 11/7/2024. A traffic incident possibly involving Driving under the Influence was reported on November 7, 2024, at 9:25 PM on N Brighton Blvd near its intersection with 38th St in the Five Points neighborhood of Denver. The scene of the incident is approximately one mile southwest of the major cross streets of I-70 and York St. Involving a pickup truck/utility van and a passenger car, both vehicles were traveling southwest when a rear-end collision occurred. The pickup truck’s driver reportedly failed to stop at a signal and was engaged in aggressive driving. Fortunately, the collision did not result in serious injuries or fatalities. The conditions at the time included wet roads and dark lighting, although the area was lit. This adds to the 613 reported incidents in the Five Points neighborhood over the past year.
