Possible DUI Incident Reported at E 40th Ave and N Cook St in Denver’s Clayton Neighborhood

DENVER, CO 10/11/2025. A traffic incident occurred at the intersection of E 40th Ave and N Cook St in Denver’s Clayton neighborhood on October 11, 2025, at 11:04 AM. The collision involved two passenger vehicles traveling westbound that resulted in a front-to-rear crash. The accident happened approximately one mile east of Colorado Blvd and one mile north of Martin Luther King Jr Blvd. Initial reports suggest that the driver of the rear vehicle may have been following too closely and failed to notice the vehicle ahead, which had no apparent contributing factors. Fortunately, there were no serious injuries or fatalities reported, though the incident might involve driving under the influence. This marks the 89th reported traffic incident in this area since October 12, 2024.
