DENVER, CO 5/25/2025. On May 25, 2025, at 5:36 AM Mountain time, a traffic incident was reported involving an SUV near the intersection of S. Patton Ct. and S. Perry St., approximately a quarter mile south of S. Alameda Ave. in Denver’s Westwood neighborhood. The vehicle, traveling east and backing up in a non-intersection and private property area, collided with a fence. The driver was reported for careless driving, having not seen the obstacle. No serious injuries or fatalities occurred, but preliminary investigations suggest that driving under the influence may have been a factor. This marks the 295th traffic-related incident in Westwood over the past year.
