Possible DUI Incident Reported Near E Florida Ave in Denver

DENVER, CO 4/1/2025. On April 1, 2025, at 6:55 PM, a traffic incident was reported on the 8000 block of E Florida Ave in Denver’s Indian Creek neighborhood, approximately 0.5 miles east of S Quebec St and 1 mile north of E Iliff Ave. The driver, traveling westbound in a passenger car or van, ran off the left side of the road and collided with a curb, wall, and tree. The wet, dark-lighted conditions may have contributed to the crash, although careless driving and possible driver distraction were noted as factors. Fortunately, no serious injuries or fatalities were reported. Authorities are investigating whether driving under the influence was involved in this non-intersection accident.
