Possible DUI Incident Reported Near Sherman Street and 8th Avenue

DENVER, CO 1/4/2025. On January 4, 2025, at 2:40 PM MT, a traffic incident occurred on N Sherman St near E 8th Ave in the Capitol Hill neighborhood of Denver. The incident involved a front-to-rear collision between two passenger vehicles traveling southward on the roadway, approximately two blocks east of the intersection. Conditions at the time included a wet road and darkness, though the area was lighted. One of the vehicles, which was on the move, was said to be driven by a possibly fatigued driver, whereas the other vehicle was parked and not in motion. Though no serious injuries or fatalities were reported, authorities are investigating potential involvement of Driving under the Influence.
