Possible DUI Incident Reported on Leetsdale Drive in Denver

DENVER, CO 12/9/2024. On December 9, 2024, at approximately 7:25 AM, a traffic incident was reported in the 5800 block of Leetsdale Drive, Denver. Located around 0.5 miles west of the prominent intersection of Leetsdale Drive and Colorado Boulevard in the Washington Virginia Vale neighborhood, the incident involved a passenger car traveling westbound. Upon investigation, it was noted that the vehicle collided with a roadside fence while going straight on the non-intersection roadway. The driver was reportedly engaged in careless driving, and there are indications of potential involvement of Driving under the Influence. Fortunately, no serious injuries or fatalities were reported. This marks the 286th reported traffic incident in the Washington Virginia Vale neighborhood over the past year.
