Possible DUI Investigated After Early Morning Collision in Central Park

DENVER, CO 11/23/2025. A traffic incident reported on November 23, 2025, at 6:43 AM in Denver’s Central Park neighborhood is under investigation for potential driving under the influence. The collision occurred approximately 0.5 miles east of the major intersection of Central Park Boulevard and East 56th Avenue. In the incident, a pickup truck traveling east on East 56th Avenue rear-ended a parked passenger car. No serious injuries or fatalities were reported. The driver of the pickup, who displayed signs of distraction, is suspected to have been driving under the influence, although this is yet to be confirmed. This event marks yet another incident in an area tallying 1,150 other reports over the past year.
