Possible DUI Investigated in Rear-End Collision in Regis Neighborhood

DENVER, CO 9/21/2025. A traffic incident involving a possible case of Driving under the Influence was reported in the Regis neighborhood of Denver on September 21, 2025, at 3:09 PM Mountain Time. The collision occurred on N Federal Blvd and W 50th Ave, approximately 0.2 miles south of W 52nd Ave and 0.4 miles north of N Speer Blvd. Both vehicles involved were passenger cars heading south when one vehicle changed lanes carelessly, leading to a front-to-rear collision. The incident happened on a non-intersection portion of the roadway, described as dark but well-lit at the time. Despite the impact, there were no serious injuries or fatalities reported. This adds to the 42 other reported incidents in the Regis neighborhood since September 24, 2024.
