Possible DUI Involved in Two-Vehicle Collision at E 43rd Ave and N Josephine St

DENVER, CO 8/3/2025. On August 3, 2025, at approximately 4:20 PM MT, a traffic incident involving two vehicles was reported at the intersection of E 43rd Avenue and N Josephine Street in the Elyria Swansea neighborhood of Denver. The collision, which occurred 0.5 miles south of I-70 and 0.3 miles east of Washington Street, involved a pickup truck traveling east and a passenger car moving north. Both vehicles were reported to be going straight at the time of the crash, which resulted in a front-to-side impact. Fortunately, there were no serious injuries or fatalities reported. This incident, one of 363 in the neighborhood since last year, may involve driving under the influence.
