Possible DUI Involves Motorcycle in Southmoor Park Traffic Incident

DENVER, CO 8/9/2025. On Saturday, August 9, 2025, at 7:20 PM, a traffic incident involving a motorcycle was reported at the intersection of East Belleview Avenue and South Niagara Street, located approximately half a mile northwest of the major intersection of Belleview and I-25 in the Southmoor Park neighborhood of Denver. Under dark-lighted conditions, the incident occurred on the roadway where the motorcycle, traveling west, moved in the wrong direction. The driver, exhibiting signs of careless driving potentially linked to driving under the influence, was inexperienced, leading to a harmful event where they fell from the motor vehicle. Fortunately, no serious injuries or fatalities were reported in this incident, which marks the 118th occurrence in the area since August 13, 2024.
