Possible DUI Involving Pickup Truck Occurs on I-25 Ramp Near W 6th Ave

A traffic incident was reported on September 28, 2024, at 9:42 PM involving a pickup truck suspected of careless driving on the northbound I-25 ramp near W 6th Ave in Denver’s Baker neighborhood. The vehicle, described as entering the traffic way and merging, encountered a barricade on the roadway. The incident occurred approximately half a mile north of the W 6th Ave exit. Although no serious injuries or fatalities were reported, this event is being investigated as a possible case of driving under the influence. This marks one of 627 traffic-related incidents in Baker over the past year.
