Possible DUI Leads to Serious Injury in Denver Intersection Collision

DENVER, CO 1/25/2025. On January 25, 2025, a traffic incident was reported at 11:05 PM at the intersection of W 1st Ave and N Sheridan Blvd in Denver, approximately 2 miles southwest of downtown. The incident involved a passenger car making an improper right turn northeast at the intersection, resulting in a collision with a light pole on a slushy, dark-lighted roadway. The crash led to one serious injury, although no fatalities were reported. Authorities are investigating the potential involvement of Driving under the Influence in the incident.
