On June 1, 2025, at 8:36 AM MT, a traffic incident was reported in the 100 block of N Steele St, approximately 0.2 miles south of the intersection with 1st Avenue in the Cherry Creek neighborhood of Denver. The incident involved a passenger car making a right turn southbound, which rear-ended a stopped SUV. While the collision occurred at an intersection and there were no serious injuries or fatalities reported, authorities are investigating the potential involvement of driving under the influence as a factor. This occurrence marks the 268th traffic-related incident in the Cherry Creek neighborhood over the past year.
