Potential DUI Suspected in Traffic Incident Near 20th and Market

DENVER, CO 5/8/2025. On May 8, 2025, at 2:17 PM MT, a traffic incident was reported at the intersection of 20th Street and Market Street in Denver’s Union Station neighborhood. The incident occurred approximately 0.2 miles northeast of the major cross streets 20th Street and Larimer Street. Two passenger vehicles were involved in a ‘front to side’ collision under ‘non-intersection’ conditions on the roadway. The first vehicle, moving south and attempting a left turn, failed to yield the right of way to the second vehicle, which was traveling straight ahead. No serious injuries or fatalities were reported. Authorities are investigating the possibility of driving under the influence as a contributing factor.
