Serious Injury in Bicycle-SUV Collision at East Ohio Avenue and South Corona Street

A traffic incident involving a bicycle and an SUV was reported on October 6, 2024, at 6:35 AM near the intersection of East Ohio Avenue and South Corona Street in the Washington Park West neighborhood of Denver. The collision occurred on the roadway while both vehicles were going straight, with the SUV traveling east and the low-speed vehicle traveling north. The driver of the SUV reportedly failed to yield the right of way, resulting in one serious injury, specifically impacting the low-speed vehicle. This incident adds to the 230 reported incidents in the Washington Park West neighborhood since October 30, 2023. There were no fatalities reported.
