Serious Injury in Denver Traffic Incident Involving Careless Driving

DENVER, CO 2/15/2025. On February 15, 2025, at approximately 10:55 AM MT, a traffic incident resulting in serious injuries was reported in the 1900 block of E 14th Ave, approximately a half mile east of the intersection with York St, in the Cheesman Park neighborhood of Denver. The incident occurred on a snowy roadway and involved a passenger car traveling eastward that collided with a light pole. The driver, identified as acting carelessly and contributing to the hazardous conditions with aggressive driving, was reportedly involved in a front-to-rear collision sequence that resulted in the vehicle hitting a utility pole again. While no fatalities were reported, the collision resulted in one person sustaining serious injuries. The Cheesman Park area has seen 187 other reported incidents since February 17, 2024.
