Serious Injury in Denver Traffic Incident Near I-25 and I-70

DENVER, CO 11/9/2024. A traffic incident resulting in serious injury was reported on November 9, 2024, at 8:36 AM near the interchange of I-25 northbound and I-70 westbound, approximately 0.5 miles north of the major cross streets. The accident occurred in the Globeville neighborhood and involved a passenger car that ran off the right side of the roadway, colliding with a concrete highway barrier. The vehicle was traveling north and reportedly over-corrected or over-steered on a wet and non-intersection road section. One individual from the passenger car suffered serious injuries, though no fatalities were reported. This incident adds to the 467 other reported traffic incidents in the Globeville neighborhood over the past year.
