Serious Injury in Hampden South Intersection Collision Involving Pickup and Passenger Car

DENVER, CO 11/27/2025. On November 27, 2025, at 4:44 PM, a serious traffic incident was reported in the Hampden South neighborhood of Denver, involving a pickup truck and a passenger car. The collision occurred at the intersection of E Hampden Ave and S Tamarac Dr, approximately 0.5 miles east of the major cross streets of E Hampden Ave and S Yosemite St. The pickup truck, traveling west, failed to stop at a signal and collided front-to-front with a northbound passenger car. The impact resulted in the pickup truck striking a light pole, leading to one serious injury. The incident occurred under dark but lighted conditions, contributing to the day’s tally of 472 reported incidents in the area within the past year.
