Serious Injury in Highland: Car Rear-Ends Parked SUV on I-25

DENVER, CO 9/24/2025. On September 24, 2025, at 7:06 PM, a traffic incident occurred on I-25 Northbound near 20th Street in the Highland neighborhood of Denver. A passenger car traveling north collided with a parked SUV, resulting in one serious injury. The crash occurred on the roadway approximately a quarter mile north of the 20th Street exit, in a non-intersection area that was dark but lit. The driver of the passenger car was reported to be driving carelessly, though no human contributing factors from the SUV were identified. Fortunately, no fatalities were reported. This incident is one of 317 reported in the Highland neighborhood since September 24, 2024.
