Serious Injury in I-70 Collision as Vehicle Hits Guardrail

DENVER, CO 7/30/2025. A serious traffic incident was reported on July 30, 2025, at 7:09 PM on the westbound I-70 highway, approximately 0.5 miles east of North Federal Boulevard in the Berkeley neighborhood of Denver. The accident involved a passenger car that, due to careless driving attributed to driver inexperience, ran off the right side of the road and collided with a guardrail face. The crash occurred in a dark-lighted, non-intersection area of the highway. One individual sustained serious injuries. This is the latest in a series of 185 traffic incidents reported in the Berkeley neighborhood over the past year.
