Serious Injury in Multi-Vehicle Collision on I-70 Eastbound Near Peoria Street

DENVER, CO 2/23/2025. A serious traffic incident resulting in injuries was reported on February 23, 2025, at 10:29 AM in the Central Park neighborhood of Denver. The collision occurred on the I-70 Eastbound, approximately near the intersection with North Peoria Street. The crash involved two pickup trucks or utility vans traveling east, with one driver reportedly following too closely and slowing down, leading to a front-to-rear collision. No fatalities were reported, but one individual sustained serious injuries. This incident adds to a total of 1,031 incidents in the Central Park neighborhood since February 23, 2024.
