Serious Injury in SUV Collision on E Hampden Ave

DENVER, CO 3/17/2025. On March 17, 2025, at approximately 12:21 PM, a traffic incident involving two SUVs was reported near E Hampden Ave and S Monaco St, about a quarter-mile east from the intersection, in the Hampden neighborhood of Denver. The collision, which was a front-to-rear crash occurring in a non-intersection area, resulted in one serious injury. Both vehicles were traveling west, and while one driver was deemed to be driving carelessly, no apparent contributing human factors were noted for either driver. Despite the severity of the accident, no fatalities were reported. This incident adds to the 204 traffic incidents reported in the Hampden area over the past year.
