Serious Injury in Traffic Collision at Denver Intersection

DENVER, CO 5/12/2025. On May 12, 2025, at 9:27 AM, a serious traffic incident occurred at the intersection of S Monaco St and E Cornell Ave in Denver’s Hampden neighborhood. Approximately 0.2 miles northeast of this junction, a collision involved two passenger vehicles. The crash was a result of an improper left turn by a southeast-bound vehicle, while a northbound vehicle was reported to be speeding and driving aggressively. The incident resulted in one serious injury. Despite this, there were no fatalities reported. This marks the 209th incident in the Hampden area since May 14, 2024.
