Serious Injury in Traffic Collision at Peña Boulevard and E GVR Blvd

DENVER, CO 12/13/2024. A serious traffic collision resulting in injuries was reported on December 13, 2024, at 11:51 AM near the intersection of Peña Boulevard and E GVR Boulevard in the Gateway – Green Valley Ranch neighborhood of Denver. The incident involved a passenger car making a left turn and a pickup truck traveling eastbound, with a failure to yield right of way by the car’s driver cited as a contributing factor. The crash occurred in dark but lighted conditions, approximately 0.5 miles southwest of the intersection. One individual was seriously injured, marking the 511th reported incident in the area since this time last year.
