Serious Injury Reported in Collision at 35th and Larimer Streets, Denver

On August 24, 2024, at approximately 7:39 PM MT, a major traffic incident occurred at the intersection of 35th Street and Larimer Street in the Five Points neighborhood of Denver. The collision involved two passenger vehicles, one traveling west and the other north. The first vehicle, cited for careless driving with the driver being distracted by exterior factors, collided front-to-side with the second vehicle, which was speeding and driven aggressively. The incident resulted in one passenger sustaining serious injuries. Despite the severity, no fatalities were reported. This marks the 560th incident in the Five Points neighborhood since August 2023.
