Serious Injury Reported in Crash Involving Pickup Truck and SUV in Central Park

DENVER, CO 10/22/2025. On October 22, 2025, a traffic incident resulting in a serious injury was reported at 11:28 AM in Denver’s Central Park neighborhood. The crash occurred on N Central Park Blvd approximately half a mile north of the intersection with E Smith Rd. The accident involved a southbound pickup truck/utility van and an SUV, both traveling in the same direction. The pickup truck driver was reportedly driving carelessly due to sun glare, contributing to the incident, which involved contact with a crash cushion and side-to-side collision with the SUV. This is among the 1,148 traffic-related incidents reported in the Central Park area since October 2024.
