Serious Injury Reported in Two-Vehicle Crash at Harvey Park South

DENVER, CO 10/12/2025. A serious traffic incident involving a passenger car and a pickup truck was reported at 8:56 AM on October 12, 2025, at the intersection of S Zurich Ct and W Bates Ave in the Harvey Park South neighborhood of Denver. The incident occurred on the roadway, approximately 0.5 miles north of the intersection of S Federal Blvd and W Yale Ave. The crash involved a front-to-side collision when the passenger car, traveling northbound, allegedly failed to yield the right of way before hitting the pickup truck traveling westbound. The impact resulted in one serious injury with no fatalities. This incident marks the 98th traffic-related event reported in the neighborhood since last year.
