Traffic Accident on I-25 in Denver Leaves One Seriously Injured

DENVER, CO 12/4/2024. On December 4, 2024, at 11:47 PM, a traffic accident was reported on the southbound I-25 Highway near West Colfax Avenue in Denver’s Lincoln Park neighborhood. Approximately half a mile southwest of this major intersection, two passenger vehicles traveling south collided. The incident occurred under dark but lighted conditions on a non-intersection roadway. A side-to-side same direction collision resulted in one vehicle hitting a concrete highway barrier, leading to one serious injury. No fatalities were reported, and both drivers are said to have exhibited no apparent contributing factors. This latest accident adds to a total of 586 incidents reported in the Lincoln Park neighborhood over the past year.
