Traffic Collision in Montbello Leaves One Seriously Injured

A traffic incident was reported on October 26, 2024, at 4:04 PM in the Montbello neighborhood of Denver, resulting in serious injury. The collision occurred on the 4600 block of North Peoria Street, approximately 0.5 miles south of the intersection with 47th Avenue. The incident involved a pickup truck/utility van making a left turn, which failed to yield the right of way, and a northbound passenger car going straight. Despite the dark but lighted conditions, the accident occurred on a non-intersection roadway, resulting in a front-to-side impact followed by a front-to-rear, and another front-to-side collision. One passenger in the passenger car sustained serious injuries, but no fatalities were reported.
