Traffic Collision on I-70 Results in Serious Injury

DENVER, CO 12/30/2025. On December 30, 2025, at 8:23 AM, a traffic incident involving a passenger car and a heavy truck occurred on westbound I-70 at the intersection with North Dahlia Street, approximately 0.5 miles west. The collision, which involved the passenger car swerving to avoid and striking a concrete highway barrier, resulted in one serious injury. Denver authorities report that the driver’s inexperience and careless driving of the passenger car were contributing factors, while the truck driver had no apparent contributing actions. This incident adds to the 353 reported road incidents in the Northeast Park Hill neighborhood over the past year.
