Traffic Incident in Montbello Results in Serious Injury

DENVER, CO 9/22/2025. A serious traffic incident was reported at 2:12 AM on September 22, 2025, near the intersection of E 52nd Ave and N Sable St in Denver’s Montbello neighborhood. The collision involved two passenger vehicles, with one traveling south and the other east, and resulted in a front-to-side impact before one vehicle struck a light pole. The driver traveling south disregarded a stop sign, leading to the crash. One individual sustained serious injuries in the accident, which took place approximately half a mile east of Peoria Street. This incident adds to a total of 489 reported traffic incidents in the Montbello area over the past year.
