Two Seriously Injured in SUV Collision at Havana Street and Yale Avenue

On October 16, 2024, at 4:19 PM, a traffic incident involving two SUVs was reported at the intersection of South Havana Street and East Yale Avenue in the Hampden neighborhood of Denver. The collision, which involved both vehicles traveling straight—one southbound and the other eastbound—resulted in two individuals sustaining serious injuries. Despite being the scene of a ‘Front to Side’ impact under dark but well-lit conditions, no fatalities were reported. Driver distraction was noted as a contributing factor for one of the SUV drivers. This marks the 215th incident in Hampden since October 30, 2023.
