Early Morning Collision in Five Points Raises DUI Concerns

DENVER, CO 12/3/2024. A traffic incident was reported on December 3, 2024, at 4:07 AM in Denver’s Five Points neighborhood, at the 1000 block of E 19th Ave, approximately half a mile west of the major cross streets of E 20th Ave and Downing Street. The collision involved two SUVs, with one vehicle allegedly making a careless and aggressive right turn while the other was stopped in traffic. No serious injuries or fatalities were reported, but the nature of the incident has raised suspicions of potential driving under the influence. This marks the 623rd reported traffic incident in the Five Points area since December 5, 2023.
