Early Morning Pedestrian Accident in Capitol Hill Neighborhood

DENVER, CO 12/30/2024. On December 30, 2024, at approximately 4:56 AM MST, a traffic incident involving an SUV and a pedestrian was reported on the 800 block of North Lincoln Street, approximately a quarter-mile north of Lincoln Street and 8th Avenue. The SUV was traveling east and making a left turn when the driver failed to yield the right of way to a pedestrian entering the intersection. Fortunately, there were no serious injuries or fatalities reported in the incident. This marks the 411th traffic-related incident in the Capitol Hill neighborhood over the past year.
