Motorcycle Accident at Vasquez Blvd and 48th Ave Leaves One Seriously Injured

A traffic incident involving a motorcycle and a pickup truck occurred on October 1, 2024, at 9:22 AM in the Elyria Swansea neighborhood of Denver, approximately 0.1 miles south of the intersection of North Vasquez Boulevard and East 48th Avenue. The accident took place at the intersection where a pickup truck, traveling west and attempting a left turn, collided with a motorcycle that was proceeding straight in the south direction. The incident, categorized as Front to Side impact, resulted in one serious injury to the motorcyclist. The driver of the pickup truck was cited for careless driving, though no apparent contributing factors were identified for either driver.
