Motorcycle Accident at W 13th Ave and N Elati St Leaves One Seriously Injured

DENVER, CO 2/5/2025. A motorcycle accident was reported on February 5, 2025, at 10:45 AM near the intersection of W 13th Ave and N Elati St, roughly 0.2 miles south of 14th Ave and Broadway, in the Civic Center neighborhood of Denver. The collision, which occurred in dark and lit conditions, involved a passenger car traveling north and a motorcycle heading west. The driver of the car, which failed to yield the right of way, collided front to side with the motorcycle, causing the motorcyclist to fall from the vehicle. The accident resulted in one person suffering serious injuries, though there were no fatalities. This incident is among 286 reported in the area over the past year.
