Motorcycle and SUV Collision Reported on E Colfax Ave

DENVER, CO 4/24/2025. On April 24, 2025, at 1:12 PM, a motorcycle accident was reported on E Colfax Avenue near its intersection with N Lincoln Street in the Capitol Hill neighborhood of Denver. The incident, which occurred approximately 0.5 miles east of the major cross street, involved a motorcycle and an SUV traveling west. It was categorized as a side-to-side collision in the same direction, happening on the roadway at a non-intersection location. The motorcycle was reportedly changing lanes under reckless circumstances, highlighting careless and aggressive driving as a contributing factor. The SUV was also changing lanes but showed no apparent contributing factors. Fortunately, no serious injuries or fatalities were reported.
