Motorcycle and Transit Bus Collide at Park Ave and Wewatta St; No Serious Injuries Reported

DENVER, CO 1/5/2026. On January 5, 2026, at 4:50 PM MT, a motorcycle accident was reported in the Five Points neighborhood of Denver. The incident occurred at the intersection of Park Ave and Wewatta St, located approximately 0.1 miles east of this junction. The collision involved a motorcycle traveling east and a transit bus that was stopped in traffic, also traveling east. While the roadway was dark but lighted at the time, there were no serious injuries or fatalities reported. Both drivers involved were deemed to have no apparent contributing factors or actions leading to the accident. This incident marks one of many reported in the Five Points neighborhood over the past year.
