Motorcycle Lane Violation Leads to Early Morning Accident on I-25 Southbound

A motorcycle accident was reported on October 16, 2024, at 5:17 AM on the I-25 southbound express lane near Park Avenue West, approximately 0.5 miles south of the intersection with 48th Avenue in the Globeville neighborhood of Denver. The incident involved a motorcycle changing lanes, resulting in a front-to-rear collision with a passenger car continuing straight. Despite the lane violation by the motorcyclist, there were no serious injuries or fatalities. This marks one of 466 traffic incidents reported in the Globeville area since October 30, 2023.
