Motorcyclist Injured After Collision with Pickup on I25

DENVER, CO 8/15/2025. A motorcycle accident was reported on August 15, 2025, at 1:02 PM Mountain Time, on the northbound lanes of I25 near South Downing Street in the Washington Park West neighborhood of Denver. Approximately 0.5 miles south of the intersection, a motorcycle traveling straight collided front-to-rear with a pickup truck, resulting in serious injuries to the motorcyclist. The incident occurred at dawn or dusk on a non-intersection roadway with no fatalities reported. Contributing factors cited include the motorcyclist following too closely and a lack of awareness. This marks the 245th reported incident in the Washington Park West area since August 2024.
