Denver, CO – On August 24, 2024, at 6:41 PM Mountain time, a serious motorcycle accident was reported at the intersection of Park Ave and North Downing St in the North Capitol Hill neighborhood. The motorcyclist, who was traveling east and attempting to make a left turn, failed to yield the right of way to a northbound passenger car, leading to a front-to-side collision. The incident occurred under dark but lighted conditions. The motorcyclist sustained serious injuries and was the only person reported injured in the accident. This marks the 176th reported incident in the neighborhood since August 24, 2023.
