One Seriously Injured in Rear-End Collision on I-25 North

DENVER, CO 5/15/2025. On May 15, 2025, at approximately 5:31 PM, a traffic incident occurred on I-25 North near W Alameda Avenue in Denver’s Baker neighborhood, resulting in one serious injury. The collision involved two passenger vehicles traveling southbound on the interstate, approximately half a mile north of the nearest major cross streets, W Alameda Avenue. The crash, a front-to-rear collision on a dark but lighted roadway, happened in a non-intersection area. One individual was seriously injured, while no fatalities were reported. The driver of the rear vehicle is cited for following too closely, attributed to age or driver ability, while the other driver had no apparent contributing factors.
