One Seriously Injured in Two-Car Collision Near Montview Blvd in Denver

DENVER, CO 9/23/2025. On September 23, 2025, at approximately 2:25 PM Mountain time, a traffic incident was reported in the East Colfax neighborhood of Denver, involving two passenger vehicles traveling westbound on East Montview Blvd at its intersection with North Tamarac St. Approximately 0.5 miles east of the Montview Blvd and Quebec St intersection, the accident resulted in one serious injury when one vehicle, attempting to merge into traffic, failed to yield the right of way and collided with another vehicle that was traveling straight. The incident occurred under wet road conditions and in dark yet lighted surroundings, marking the 215th reported traffic incident in this neighborhood since the same date last year.
