DENVER, CO 5/22/2025. On May 22, 2025, at 7:10 AM, a traffic incident involving a pedestrian was reported on the 2100 block of E Colfax Ave in the Cheesman Park neighborhood of Denver. The incident occurred on the roadway, not at an intersection. The pedestrian was crossing or entering the road not at a designated intersection when they were struck by a westbound transit bus, which was traveling straight. The driver of the bus did not perform any contributing actions and no apparent human factors were noted. There were no serious injuries or fatalities reported. Since May 24, 2024, there have been 188 other reported incidents in the Cheesman Park neighborhood.
