Pedestrian Injured in Dark-Lighted Intersection Accident in Hampden, Denver

DENVER, CO 12/4/2024. On December 4, 2024, at approximately 12:20 PM MT, a traffic incident involving a pedestrian occurred at the intersection of South Monaco Street and East Hampden Avenue in the Hampden neighborhood of Denver. The accident, which happened on the roadway at the intersection, involved a passenger car traveling northwest and making a left turn. The pedestrian was crossing or entering the intersection at the time of the collision. Fortunately, there were no serious injuries or fatalities reported. This incident adds to a total of 223 traffic-related reports in the Hampden neighborhood since December 5, 2023.
